2021 Race Update

The Kluane Chilkat International Bike Relay (KCIBR) executive and board of directors is working hard to plan a safe event for 2021.

Our primary goal is to ensure the safety of all entrants, volunteers and members of the community.  The event will incorporate best practices developed for the COVID-19 pandemic and operational plans will be reviewed by appropriate medical and regulatory agencies. 

An equally important goal is to encourage everyone to get on their bikes and enjoy being outdoors.  We will also strive to make the event as inclusive as possible.

There is a lot of uncertainty regarding the pandemic, and where we’ll be next June.  At this point, facts are changing almost daily.  The KCIBR board will have an overall vision for the 2021 event by early January.

Our plan is to host a safe and successful 2021 event.  As soon as our plans are finalized, we’ll let you know. Thanks for your patience.
