Volunteer

It requires about 200 volunteers to host the bike relay.  Volunteers come from Whitehorse, Haines Junction, Haines, Juneau, Teslin and even one board member from Toronto!

 

It's volunteers that make this a great event.

 

Many volunteers are recruited by community non-profit groups that receive an honorarium for their group.  They also have transportation expenses subsidized and snacks provided.

 

Volunteers not associated with a community group will receive a small token of appreciation for their efforts.  This year's volunteers will be given a souvenir t-shirt and free ticket for the Saturday night dinner in Haines, AK.

VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED FOR THE FOLLOWING TASKS!

 

1.  Help with the race package preparation on Monday June 11 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and for the Whitehorse registration night on June 12.

 

2. There are always some miscellaneous things - let us know if you can help out and we'll let you know what are our needs.
